I like the concept of this item. But for 7,000 gp I wonder if perhaps the additional 5ft step (or shift in 4e lingo) could be tied to the character's speed or Dexterity. Example: Activating these boots lets you shift half your movement/Dexterity (minimum 1sq) as a free action. Ameron’s last blog post..Reputation (Part 1)

I need to playtest it to see how much trouble it was (therefore increasing the price or descreases the uses per day).
