Mad Brew Labs is the playground of Michael “Mad Brew” Brewer, a .NET developer that spends his nights developing content for his favorite pastime: roleplaying games.  Michael has a passion for his hobby and he shares it through this blog with kindred spirits surfing the ether that is the web.

Besides his fondness for Belgian Hefeweizen ales, Mad Brew also has an insatiable thirst for game and design theory.  The Labs often serves as a testbed for his take on roleplaying game theory.  Mad Brew then applies this theory to create original content such as wonderous items and monsters for d20, a steampunk-horror setting called The Dead Wastes, and a game system dubbed Echelon.
